Creative Portraits will be at “The Great Lake of Texas,” Possum Kingdom, June 8th and June 9th. Join us for a wonderful, summer day of fun and portraits by Julie Gilmore. This is a great opportunity for unique family, engagement, bridal, or senior portraits. Appointments are limited to only four, two morning and two sunset, and are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Investment $130
Includes $80 session fee
$50 portrait credit

The $130 non-refundable investment is required when booking your portrait session. $80 of your investment will cover your session fee and $50 will be applied towards your portrait order as long as your appointments are kept. In case of bad weather you will be issued a studio credit. No refunds. Not valid with any other promotion.

Baby Gender Reveal Party

If you haven’t heard of this idea, you are seriously missing out on some cuteness. Thank you Pinterest!!!

A Baby Gender Reveal Party is exactly what it sounds like. The couple asks their doctor to seal the gender information in an envelope which the couple then hands over to the photographer. The photographer is in charge of setting things up. The soon to be mom and dad can choose from in studio, outdoors, or the gender reveal party.

What a great idea!

Either way this is a very sweet and special event for families to share whether you are rooting for pink or blue.

Mix it the way you want!

Here are some other ideas we have seen or heard of for those who want to host their own gender reveal party:

1) Hand the gender envelope over to the baker! The couple asks their doctor to seal the gender information in an envelope which the couple then hands over to a local bakery. The bakery makes a cake with a pink or blue center according to what is inside the envelope. In the presence of friends and family, the couple cuts into the cake at the party, revealing the gender of their baby.

2) Use cupcakes! Instead of a cake, the cupcakes will have a frosted blue or pink center that the couple will have to bite into in order to find out!

3) Have a gender reveal party guessing game – the winners get an extra treat for guessing right!

4) Reveal the name also! If you already have a name picked out for a girl and for a boy, why not reveal the name along with the gender? Once the cake is cut into, the couple reveals the name of the baby to their friends and family.
